Chichester Authors to Share Self-publishing Secrets

In February this year, Katy of Chichester Copywriter took part in a discussion with author and client Mary Atkinson at a book fair organised by Chichester Independent Authors (CHINDI).

During the talk, Should Have Used a Copy-editor, Katy and Mary emphasised the importance of professional proofreading, copy-editing and marketing for the self-published author and how Chichester Copywriter was involved in the process of Mary and Sandra Hooper’s e-Book Once Upon a Touch…Story Massage for Children.

On 4th November at 19.30, CHINDI will give advice to budding authors at Chichester Library. They will take part in a Q&A session, Local Authors Share Secrets of Self-Publishing, hosted by children’s author Christopher Joyce.

The Creatures of Chichester author will quiz Jill King, Marion Kille, Julian Kirkman-Page and Daniel Jones about their diverse range of books, their inspirations and the lessons they learnt on their writing journeys.

After the talk, there will be an opportunity for attendees to meet the Sussex writers, browse their books and enjoy a free coffee. Signed copies of everything from biographies to crime fiction will be available to purchase for cash or cheque on the night.
