How to Get Inspired to Write with Stewart Ferris
Just some of the books that Stewart has written includes part of a series of writing guides: Unusual Character Names for Writers (eBook, 2010), How to Publish Your Own Book (Summersdale, 2008), How to be a Writer (Summersdale, 2005) and How to Get Published (Summersdale, 2005).
This series will form the foundation of Stewart’s motivational talk on how we can get inspired to write. Taking place on the Friday evening, this will be an excellent introduction to Chichester Copywriter’s Writing Retreat weekend.
Writing and Publishing Panel at the Writers’ Retreat
Stewart will also take part in the panel talk: Getting Published: Our Experiences on the Friday evening of Chichester Copywriter’s Writers’ Retreat.
Stewart will join writers Isabel Ashdown and Gabrielle Kimm as well as their editors Victoria Blunden of Myriad Editions and Rebecca Saunders of Little, Brown. During this writing and publishing talk you’ll find out how Isabel and Gabrielle secured their publishing deals, including all the trials and tribulations along the way and their publishers’ sides of the stories.
Stewart will of course be able to offer a very interesting perspective to his fellow panelists, with experience as both a publisher and a writer. It promises to be a fascinating and entertaining talk with industry insiders, providing a real insight into the highs and lows of the world of professional writing.
