DillyWorm Crafts is a Lassetter family business based in Chichester run by Katy and mum, Gill. DillyWorm originates from a pet name Gill once had and the choice of an owl for the logo came about because Gill’s mother and Katy’s grandmother both adored and collected owls. They both fitted with the ladies’ cutesy product style and so made the perfect choice.
Katy and Gill offer a range of handmade, homemade and customised crafts and gifts in a cutesy floral/vintage style including: bags, aprons , iPhone Pouches, clothing for adults and children, cushion covers, lavender bags, pin cushions, cuddly friends, accessories, jewellery, framed photography, flower arrangements and home and garden wares.
The business officially launched with its first stall at Marine Park Gardens, Aldwick, Bognor Regis on 26th July. This was an event designed to reclaim a beautiful park from anti-social use and it was an appropriate celebration of local arts and crafts on the day that the gardens won a coveted Green Flag Award.
The Lassetter girls had their second stall at Number Forty Three’s Courtyard Market last weekend. The funky vintage shop extended outdoors and brought an array of posh bric-a-brac to Chichester’s North Street and DillyWorm Crafts flew their own flag for vintage chic with beautiful pearl jewellery and Cath Kidston style bags.
You can next check out DillyWorm Crafts’ lovely wares at Portsmouth Guildhall’s Boutique Market on Sunday 21st August. They will also appear at Chichester Copywriter’s Writers’ Retreat over the August Bank Holiday weekend, for which tickets are still available.
Essentially, if you’re looking for a special gift or fancy treating yourself to something gorgeously unique you should come along to one of DillyWorm Crafts’ stalls.
