Festive Jazz Café, featuring Christopher Timothy, to raise funds for Festival of Chichester

Christopher Timothy at Festive Jazz Cafe Tickets are now on sale for a special Festival of Chichester gala event, the Festive Jazz Café with Christopher Timothy at St John’s Chapel, 10th December, 19.30.

Joining Christopher Timothy – star of TV’s much-loved All Creatures Great and Small series – will be distinguished poet and University of Chichester lecturer Stephanie Norgate as well as actress Emily Rose Smith, who performed in 2013’s Festival of Chichester Chekhov play, The Bear.

Christopher Timothy’s starring role as vet James Herriot is currently being reprised on the Drama TV channel which is broadcasting a rerun of All Creatures Great and Small – a show Chichester Copywriter loved as a child.

Music at the Festive Jazz Café will come from Sussex band the Jazz Smugglers, who will perform everything from jazz classics to Gershwin tunes to seasonal songs. The stimulating mix of words and music is being served with complimentary mince pies in the atmospheric setting of St John’s Chapel. All proceeds from the evening will go towards Festival of Chichester 2016.
