The brainchild of Chichester Copywriter’s Katy and fellow writer Vicky Edwards, Story Factory Chichester is returning for its third run this October half term!
Kindly sponsored by JSPC Computer Services, once again the popular event will see children exploring stories through words, art and music at an all-day creative workshop on Friday 30th October.
The last chocolate-themed creative workshop was so tantalising that the team have had their thinking caps on and have come up with another corker of a theme: Brilliant Beginnings!
Expanding to a bigger venue (St Wilfrid’s Hall, next to Parklands Primary School), guest practitioners – including an author and editor from Summersdale Publishers as well as West Sussex-based arts and crafts practitioners – will lead the sessions, resulting in a performance and a finished project to take home. This time, the children will get to create their very own zines (mini books), which they will then write and illustrate.
As well as having a fantastic day exploring their creativity and making new friends, each child will receive a fabulous Paperchase goody bag and certificate.
For more information and bookings email Katy or call 01243 533421. The workshop fee for the whole day is £28.00 per child. All materials, drinks and snacks will be provided – children just need to bring a packed lunch and an imagination!
