On Wednesday 11th December, Chichester will come alive with the Festive Jazz Café, featuring seasonal poems read by star of stage and screen Mark Wynter and guest poet Naomi Foyle. These readings will be accompanied by the cool sounds of Gershwin and classic jazz courtesy of Bosham band The Jazz Smugglers.
The Festive Jazz Café, which is to take place at 7.30pm, St John’s Chapel, St John’s Street, Chichester, is in aid of Festival of Chichester. The aim is to raise funds in order to help distribute brochures for the 2014 Festival in and around Chichester.
As Social Media Marketing coordinator of Festival of Chichester’s Twitter and Facebook pages, this is a cause very close to Chichester Copywriter’s heart. Festival of Chichester is a celebration of the arts with a vast and varied programme of events and without the committed team of volunteers behind the Festival of Chichester the people of West Sussex would not have the opportunity to enjoy such events each summer.
Please spread the word about the festive fundraiser and book your tickets today via Chichester Tickets, Cloisters Shop, Chichester Cathedral. Alternatively call 01243 813595 or visit Chichester Tickets online.
