Chichester Copywriter Good marketing starts with good words

Chichester Copywriter at the Observer and Gazette Business Awards 2010

On Friday evening Katy from Chichester Copywriter and partner Pete got their glad rags on and set off for Fontwell Park to attend the Observer and Gazette Business Awards 2010.

It was an evening filled with meeting representatives from local businesses, including the lovely people from Goodwood Racecourse, but many from further afield too. ITV presenter Fred Dineage was an absolute legend, keeping the crowds entertained with his jolliness and mischief as the host of the awards night.

The food, supplied by Hardings Catering, was also very good: Goats Cheese Salad, followed by Slow Cooked Lamb Shank and a Pear and Vanilla Tarte Tatin certainly got the taste buds tingling. Although, the event organisers could have made a little more effort to please those that prefer not to drink alcohol –it’s hardly a crime, after all!

Chichester Copywriter was lucky enough to get shortlisted for two awards at this year’s event: Business of the Year (up to five employees) for Katy’s successes as a sole trader and Innovation for Katy’s contribution to social media marketing in the local area.

Unfortunately, there was no win for our professional copywriter and marketer at this year’s event but Katy sends a big thank you to all that have supported Chichester Copywriter over the last year, and extra thanks to all of you that voted for Chichester Copywriter in the readers’ choice category.
